DALLAS, TX (November 9, 2009) - Riverstone Residential Group was honored Wednesday evening, November 4, with the 2009 Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by the Dallas-based Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University. The company was recognized as Dallas' 2nd fastest-growing, privately-held company at a formal awards ceremony and dinner at the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center.

The Dallas 100 Awards was co-founded by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship in 1990. To qualify for the Dallas 100, a company must be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship, or partnership, not a subsidiary or division of a parent company; be headquartered in the Dallas metroplex; have had sales of more than $500,000 and less than $75 million in the fiscal year three years prior to the event. The 2009 Dallas 100 rankings are based on the percentage increase in sales and absolute dollar growth between 2006 and 2008.
